Greetings! My name is Erica Jones and I am the sister of Chelsea Jones who is currently critically ill. On July 2, 2025, Chelsea gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Khloe Marie. Chelsea arrived home with baby Khloe and was on the journey to healing and getting back to her normal routine. On July 13, 2025, our lives took a drastic change. Chelsea was found on the floor, in and out of consciousness, by our mom and her significant other. Chelsea was immediately airlifted from Albany, GA airport to Dothan, AL to receive trauma care. At that time, we were told she had a stroke and her BP was 250/140. Only to find out at the hospital that her BP was so high it caused swelling and bleeding of the brain.
My mother and I lived in Dothan, AL for the entirety of her stay in Southeast Health, while caring for her newborn and 13-year-old son, Nolij Khalil. We still thank and appreciate everyone who came during that time, and unfortunately, our journey isn’t over. Chelsea currently has a trach and is on a ventilator and has not yet fully recovered, but we trust God to work His miracles as He’s done so many times before. She has currently been moved to a nursing facility for long-term care.
I’m asking for assistance on behalf of my mom because we are in need to continue to care for her two children, legal filing of documentation, travel, monthly utility, and rental expenses (our mom has not worked since July). We are truly grateful for those who have been on this journey with us since the beginning, and although it’s not over, life and expenses unfortunately cannot stop. To know Chelsea is to experience the most blissful moments in life; she was so peaceful, encouraging, hardworking, loving, and kindhearted. I pray that one day you will hear her speak of her testimony of how God favored her and healed her body.
No donation is too big or too small; it’s greatly appreciated. When things begin to change, I often update on my FB page. Please continue to pray for her and my family! We love you, Chelsea, and again, thank you all!!
