Help me raise money to move to America , to support what I believe God is calling me to do - to use my worship and prayer to reach those that don’t know Him yet !
Hey I’m Chelsea :)
I’ve felt a tugging towards America for the last 5 years , but have never really had an idea of what God has wanted me to do there , but always knowing that I need to go !
- In 2020, I was constantly looking at colleges, thinking thats what i’m supposed to do , and something i also just really wanted to do! i was obsessed with watching these college student vlogs on youtube!
- In 2021 , with America still on my mind and the season i was in longing for community, i searched for something that ticked both boxes. I came across Liberty university, a christian college with the coolest people and quickly started planning how i’d get there. i remember researching scholarships, visa’s and was studying to sit my SAT’s. i thought this was what the Lord wanted me to do! But eventually I made the decision it wasn’t the right thing to do. It was near impossible financially without scholarships !
- By 2022, somewhere at the start of this year i came across YWAM (youth With A Mission) and thought surely this is what God wants me to do! i commited to working fulltime for the year to save money to go to california in January 2023. Plane ticket to la was booked, i just needed the funds to sustain me over there ! But by the time december rolled around, there had been a few factors that stopped me from going, and didn’t have all the finances needed , so I had to refund my ticket :/
Which brings me to now, 2025, in a position and season of life where i have the chance to go, knowing i have to get there - believing that God has put America on my heart for a reason , and wanting to be used BY HIM TO SERVE !
This October , I hope to join Prayer House Ministries as a full-time missionary in North Carolina , USA ! They exist seeing the value in prayer and worship , and travel across America to plant ‘Prayer rooms’ - spaces of prayer and worship for people to encounter Him !
The goal of $6900 is the total fees of tuition, travel and housing needed get there and be apart of the fall missionary school for 6 months! (Around $4500 USD !)
Im believing to raise this money with your help , needed by September 10th !
I’m believing that this is a step in the right direction for where God wants to use me, and am believing that the goal can be raised !
