Hi, my name is Wendall and I'm raising funds to help Oneil.

I travel the world and make YouTube videos. Around 18 months ago I made a video in Brixton London and was given an incredibly warm welcome by the Jamaican community in the area. One of the wonderful locals in my video was a street cook named Oneil. He is a man of faith who has an energy and positive spirit that literally brightens your day. He cooks honestly some of the most mouth watering Jamaican cuisine I've ever tasted from a temporary stall in the centre of the iconic Electric Avenue in Brixton. He is also passionate about giving free meals to homeless people who need them. When I returned to Brixton recently I found Oneil still cooking the same exceptional food from the same makeshift stall.

When I first met Oneil he mentioned that it was his dream to one day upscale his operation to a permanent bricks-and-mortar site. Despite the theatre and romance of the street kitchen from which he operates, it is frustrating for him to have to serve from such a basic setup day-in day-out. He also believes he can vastly upscale his ability to offer free meals to Brixton's homeless people from a proper restaurant.

I have no idea if we can raise enough funds to help Oneil actually lease a permanent restaurant, but at the very least whatever we do raise can help him to upscale his cooking operation and feed some more homeless people.

When we reach our target or are as close as I think we can get, I will withdraw the funds and send them to Oneil. I am now in touch with him and will give him regular updates. I will post proof of the funds sent once complete.
