Help Chaz's Family Through Loss and Hardship

My name is Heather. I am creating this gofundme for my sister and brother-in-law.

They are not the type of people to ask for help or a hand out. Chaz and my sister work hard to provide for their family but they could really use this time to grieve and some financial comfort.

In March 2025,  beloved Grandma Jean was sent home on hospice care. She lived with her grandson, his wife, and their three children, where she was surrounded by love every single day. Her grandson worked tirelessly to provide for his family and maintain their home, while his wife stayed home to care for Grandma Jean around the clock. This meant the family relied on a single income, and while they wouldn’t have chosen any other way to care for her, it placed a heavy financial strain on them.

Earlier this year, his wife purchased a car to help with the family’s needs, getting kids back and forth to school, doctors apt, and grocery shopping for her family. but just one month later, the transmission went out, leaving them without reliable transportation and yet another financial burden.  Despite these challenges, they continued to focus on giving Grandma Jean comfort, dignity, and love in her final months. On August 10, 2025, Grandma Jean peacefully passed away. Now, her grandson is facing another challenge—wanting to take time off work to prepare for her funeral and honor her memory, but simply not being able to afford to miss work.

We are kindly asking for help during this difficult time. Any donation, big or small, would go toward helping this family cover expenses to get by as they take the, time they need to say goodbye, and ease the financial weight they are carrying. Your generosity would mean so much to them as they navigate both grief and hardship.
