Help Charlottesville High School Band Get Drum Major Podium!

As in many school programs, there is not quite enough money for everything they need. In this case, it is something as simple as what the drum major stands on. At the moment, instead of a proper podium, the senior drum major climbs up on a ladder you might find at Lowe’s. Going to band competitions last fall, Charlottesville High School seems to be the only school using a ladder. It’s not the most stable platform to try to direct a marching band.
So, I am here asking you to give to this GoFundMe to help buy an actual podium for the Charlottesville High School Band.
Specifically, a Jarvis model 1400-2, 72″ podium.
The cost of the podium and shipping is $2,500.
