Help Charlie and Kailey Restart After Fire
Donation protected
Thank you for taking a moment to become acquainted with my brother, Charlie and his fiancé, Kailey during a very difficult time for them.
My brother is an experienced, industrious farmer who takes pride in raising grass-fed sheep, cattle, and chickens the responsible way - without hormones and antibiotics. He obtained his degree in Animal Science and is grateful for the opportunity to positively contribute to the farming industry by providing healthy, quality meats to families across the country.
On April 2nd, his farm and home were devastatingly impacted by mother nature after lightning struck his home and caused blazing fires. Charlie and Kailey experienced an unthinkable tragedy when their home was engulfed in flames and burned due to a lightning strike caused by severe storms in Burkesville, KY. On Tuesday, the state of Kentucky experienced widespread tornados affecting many people. These tornadoes were accompanied with a surge of destructive storms that lashed in multiple areas causing damage throughout Kentucky and neighboring states.
Over 40,000 homes and businesses are without power post storm but my brother and his fiancé are without their home. They have lost all of their possessions including all clothing, furniture, appliances, electronics, photographs, and more. Aside from losing all tangible possessions they own, what's most heartbreaking is the loss of their two loving pets, a ten year old Boston Terrier named Doris and their precious, nine year old cat, Sophie. Both loving pets were buried yesterday in the aftermath of this terrible tragedy. Their pets perished in the fire due to smoke inhalation before the flames destroyed their home.
Charlie and Kailey are a young couple and were just beginning a shared life together in a home they made their own. Now, everything they own is gone and our hearts break for our grieving family who have no possessions and have to start rebuilding their lives from scratch. Our immediate goal is to help Charlie and Kailey purchase some of the basic necessities they need while helping them replace tangibles used in everyday life. Our long-term goal is to help them rebuild their home that has been destroyed.
Today, we humbly ask if you can donate to Charlie and Kailey in hopes that they may rebuild their lives and home. They have lost everything, so anything you could contribute would be sincerely appreciated and utilized to help them replace and rebuild. Any donation would truly be appreciated - big or small. We are grateful for your kindness and generosity. Your giving spirit is sincerely appreciated by Charlie, Kailey, and all who love them deeply. Thanks you friends, family, and kind hearts near and far!
