In 2023, I left an abusive relationship and moved, hoping for a fresh start and a safer life. Since then, I've faced a lot of uncertainty—spending almost two and a half years couch surfing, living in a tent, staying in a shelter, a halfway house, and eventually finding myself in Wisconsin with just six totes and my cat, Snowball. My journey has been far from easy. Once in Wisconsin, I began couch surfing again, relying on the kindness of chosen family throughout the state to keep me going. Through all these changes, Snowball has been my constant companion, offering comfort and stability when everything else felt uncertain.

Right now, I'm working hard to rebuild my life and find a place to call home. Donations will help cover essential expenses like food and litter for Snowball, as well as things that support my mental health, and transportation while I continue couch surfing. I'm also facing costs related to finalizing my divorce, and the need for basic items once I secure a new apartment.
