Help Charles and Julie Save Their Home

Hi, my name is Angela, and my grandparents need help. My grandparents, Charles and Julie Perlingiero, have lived in their Philadelphia home for 47 years. Although this home is full of memories, many of which I spent there, the years have been rough to it and the home is now nearly unlivable with a hole through the back wall, leaks in the ceiling, and a collapsing front porch. During the winter, this is unsafe and unhealthy for them. My grandparents are not able to pay to repair the house, nor pay for rent and utilities elsewhere as they only make a total income of approximately $1400 a month and have very limited savings. Additionally, they have both been struggling with some health problems and need a roof over their heads. Between 2023-2024, my grandmother had a saddle pulmonary embolism, triple bypass surgery, and a massive pulmonary embolism, and now, in 2025, my grandfather has had complications with his diabetes along with another infection, leading us to nearly lose him twice. This ultimately caused him to spend a lot of time in the emergency room and left my grandmother to take care of legal issues surrounding the house. This home is not only where I grew up, but also where they raised my father. Please help us save their home!
