Dear Friends, Family, Supporters and the Community,

Charlene and her two boys have been torn apart after the children’s father was deported in February leaving behind his wife to care for their sons alone.

The boys are 4 years old and 1 year old and this is a time where they need their dad the most—for love, stability, and guidance. The four year old asks, “When are we going to see Daddy?” It breaks his mother’s heart and she just responds, “Soon we will go see Daddy.” Their mother is doing everything she can to provide for them, but the burden of raising two young children on her own is overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.

What they want most is the chance to visit him for the holidays; so that these boys can feel their father’s love and so that he can remain a real presence in their lives despite the painful distance. But travel costs, especially for a young mother with two small children, are far beyond what she can afford on her own.

That’s why we are asking for your help. Your generosity will go directly toward making this visit possible—helping to cover travel, food, and lodging—so that this family can hold onto their bond and keep hope alive for the future.
