Chandler Mason recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he distinguished himself as a Finance major, a Stophel Scholar, and a Rollins Scholar. Throughout his time at UTC, Chandler was known for his leadership, generosity, and commitment to helping others, including serving as the AI Sector Lead for the Smile Fund. At the time of the fire, Chandler was completing his internship and was in the process of finalizing a full-time job offer, an exciting milestone that should have marked the beginning of his career. Instead, yesterday, Chandler lost everything in the Hixson apartment fire. Like so many others affected, he escaped with only what he had with him. His home and nearly all of his belongings were destroyed.

As Chandler begins the difficult process of rebuilding his life, we’re asking our community to come together and help ease the financial burden. Donations will help replace essential items such as clothing, household necessities, furniture, technology, and other everyday items needed to start over.
