Hi everyone! Our beloved friend, Chris Chandler took a terrible fall while working as a stagehand, which landed him with a skull fracture, traumatic brain injury, and brain bleeding. He has been in the ICU at Dell Seton in Austin, TX since Sunday, February 1st and will likely be here for several more days before going to a rehabilitation facility for an indefinite amount of time.
He is stabilized, but he is experiencing confusion, disorganized thoughts, brain fog, intense headaches, and body aches. He has an incredible team of people looking after him, from his stagehand friends, to his union comrades and of course his musical family and community. We are limiting visitors currently, but I am sure he'll be accepting more visitors soon.
We are hoping that workers comp will cover most of his hospital bills, but he will be out of work for quite a while as he recovers, and the last thing we want him worrying about now is money. If you are able please consider sending him a financial contribution, a song, or a prayer.
