Who We Are
Chadley’s Café is located in the main lobby of Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey. We are a small, family-owned business with 6 employees and for nearly 18 years, we have served the medical staff, paramedics, police officers, firefighters, security guards, ambulance drivers, patients, and visitors that have passed through our café. We are a caring family and want to do more giving back to the Virtua Memorial staff who save lives not only during a pandemic but every day! We are here to serve the staff and the few visitors allowed to enter the hospital. We are known for putting a smile on the face of the new dad by serving a fresh cup of coffee because he was up all night awaiting the birth of his child or the employee from the ER looking for a breakfast sandwich because their night shift is now a double shift during these trying times. And for those that know us best, no one was ever denied a meal because they had no money. We built our reputation on caring and that’s what we will continue to do during this most challenging time.
Why We Need Your Help
Even though there is strict, limited access to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, the café remains opened serving those that serve you! Your donation will directly benefit the heroes at the forefront of this crisis. Every dollar donated will go to feeding the medical staff and extended staff at the hospital. This will allow the café to prepare those meals and drinks for the doctors, nurses, paramedics, security personnel, and all the employees working hard to keep everyone safe! Together, we can help the hospital staff enjoy a worry-free meal prepared with love because of your kindness.
How Your Donation Will Be Used
Your generous donations will be issued to the hospital staff as gift certificates of $10.00 each so they can enjoy a meal, beverage, or sweet treat when they have down time to enjoy made to order fresh food. This will ensure the staff can redeem the gift certificate at a time when they are able to take a much needed break and can leave their work area to enjoy well-prepared food in the comfort of the cafe, large atrium, or their office while respecting social distancing. We will work with the hospital administration for fair distribution of our gift certificates across the staff from the ER, ICU, pediatrics, security personnel, reception desk staff, environmental workers and the hundreds of other employees who serve our medical needs daily.
