My name is Karey A. Davis, and my heart is filled with both grief and hope as I reach out to you. Recently, I lost my beloved wife, Brandie "Cookie" Gravely-Davis. While our hearts are heavy, my focus remains steadfast: supporting our incredible son, Chad, as he embarks on an exciting new chapter at Alabama State University.

Cookie and I always dreamed of giving Chad the best opportunities. Now, as a single father, I'm committed to honoring her memory by ensuring he has everything he needs to thrive. This journey, however, comes with significant financial challenges.

Chad's senior year is filled with milestones – prom, graduation, college application results – each with associated costs. Simultaneously, we're preparing for the substantial expenses of his freshman year at ASU: housing deposits, books, dorm essentials, and travel. Managing these costs on a single income is proving difficult.

ASU holds a special place in our family. Both of Chad’s grandparents graduated from there, and I proudly marched with "The Mighty Marching Hornets." Seeing Chad follow in these footsteps fills me with immense pride. He even had the incredible opportunity to perform at St. Peter’s Square with his high school marching band and play with the ASU marching band during their High School Band Day!
