Help Cesar's Recovery Journey from a Traumatic Brain Injury

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support during this incredibly difficult time. Our beloved nephew, Cesar Arana, is fighting for his life in the hospital following a traumatic injury to his head. On Sunday, July 21st, Cesar was found unconscious at a house he was painting. Upon discovery, he was on the ground bleeding from his nose and mouth and was completely unresponsive. 911 was notified immediately and he was swiftly transported to the hospital.

At the hospital, Cesar underwent a CT scan which revealed a skull fracture and significant bleeding in his brain (epidural hematoma), causing dangerous pressure. Emergency surgery was performed to alleviate this pressure, which thankfully was successful. Currently, Cesar remains sedated in ICU where he is being closely monitored. Part of his skull has been temporarily removed to allow his brain to recover without excessive pressure. The doctors have informed us that they will not reattach the skull for at least 1-3 months, during which time his progress will be carefully observed.

Cesar is a loving father to four amazing kids, Noah (14), Eden (14), Lucas (10) and Mila (1). Mila turns one on July 25th and her dad will be unable to celebrate this important milestone. He’s a devoted husband to Stephanie, and they were looking forward to celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary on July 26th. Cesar is also a supportive son, brother, and a faithful friend to so many people. He has always been there for others in their times of need, and now he needs our support more than ever.

As he fights for his life in the ICU, the road to recovery is expected to be long and arduous (6-12 months). In addition to the emotional toll, the financial burden on his family is immense. Medical bills and the costs of ongoing care, rehabilitation, and daily essentials will place a significant strain on their resources. Your generous donations will be used directly to support Cesar's recovery journey and to provide for his family during this difficult period. Specifically, your contributions will help cover:

Medical Expenses: Funds will go towards the extensive medical treatments Cesar requires, including surgery, hospital stays, medications, and ongoing medical care.
Rehabilitation: As Cesar progresses in his recovery, rehabilitation therapies will be essential for him to regain strength and functionality. Your donations will ensure he receives the necessary physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
Daily Essentials: While Cesar and Stephanie are unable to work, your support will help cover everyday living expenses for his family, including rent payments, utilities, groceries, and other basic necessities.
