This year, my parents, Johnny and Estelle, will celebrate an incredible milestone — 50 years of marriage. Watching their journey together has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

For as long as I can remember, my parents have put others first. They have been deeply involved in their church and have spent their lives helping, serving, and supporting people in need. So many lives have been touched by their kindness, faith, and generosity, often in quiet ways that never asked for recognition.

Because of their lifelong commitment to the church and to serving others, much of their time and energy was focused on caring for people rather than planning for themselves. As they enter this next season of life, a little extra support would help them feel more comfortable and secure.

As they reach this golden anniversary, their dream is finally to do something just for themselves — to travel together. To explore new places, rest, and celebrate the life they have built side by side over the last five decades. Any funds raised will go toward helping them travel, and any remaining support would simply help ease their transition into retirement.

I created this GoFundMe as a way to honor their love, their service, and their commitment — and to help make this dream a reality for them. Any contribution, no matter the size, truly means more than words can express.
