I am currently unable to work due to a delay in my DACA renewal caused by USCIS backlogs. Although I submitted my renewal on November 29, 2025, my case has been pending for months, and I lost my job on March 18, 2026 as a result. I am the primary provider for my family. I am a mother of two daughters, and we also care for our two cats who are part of our family. Without a valid work permit, I currently have no source of income. I have exhausted my savings and am now struggling to cover basic needs like rent, utilities, and groceries. My employer has confirmed they will rehire me as soon as my work permit is approved, but there is no clear timeline. This uncertainty has made it incredibly difficult to stay afloat. I have always worked hard, followed the process, and supported my family. Asking for help is not easy for me, but at this point, I truly need support to get through this temporary but overwhelming situation.
