Cecelia Wargaski is 84 years old. She’s spent her life giving to others—raising a family, running a farm, and caring for those in need. But now, after years of emotional and financial strain, she needs help herself.

Despite doing everything right, Cecelia has been hit by a devastating combination of circumstances:
– A long and traumatic legal battle
– Serious and chronic health conditions
– Snowballing debt that threatens her home and stability

It all began when Cecelia’s husband of 50 years was diagnosed with dementia. She worked with her lawyer to protect his care, their assets, and their home. But interference and conflict within the family made the situation dangerously unstable—eventually forcing her to pursue a painful, expensive divorce to protect her safety and wellbeing.

What followed was a five-figure legal ordeal: lawyers, accountants, psychiatric evaluations, and years of emotional toll. At the same time, Cecelia’s health declined sharply. She now lives with severe arthritis, a rare blood disorder, chronic nerve pain, near-total hearing loss, and lasting complications from multiple illnesses, including surviving babesiosis, and medication reactions.

Yet through all of this, Cecelia remains on the land she loves—her rural farm—with the support of two devoted daughters. One holds the household together day by day; the other, despite her own chronic illness, continues to help however she can.

But they can’t do it alone anymore.

What We're Asking For

• Pay down the medical and legal debt that has overwhelmed Cecelia’s finances

• Improve her transportation in a rural area with no public transit
