On September 30, 2026, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck my uncle’s community on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Since then, they’ve endured over 2,500 aftershocks- including another 4.0 quake just yesterday.

The damage has been catastrophic. Homes are cracked and unsafe. Families are too scared to sleep inside. Right now, the whole community is sleeping together under a single tarp, sharing one generator, and doing everything they can to survive and support each other.

These are hardworking families who’ve lost so much, but not their spirit. They’re cooking meals together, protecting one another, and finding strength in unity. But they need help to rebuild- and that’s where we come in.

Temporary shelters that are safer than sleeping exposed

Repairs and rebuilding for damaged homes

Support for children and elders who are the most vulnerable right now
