Help Cebu Rise Again: Relief for Families & Animals Affected by Typhoon Tino.

My name is Abbey Alo, and I’m originally from Cebu, Philippines, though I now live in the United States, . Cebu is my hometown — my heart, my roots, and where many of my friends,my entire family, and loved ones still live.

Recently, Cebu was devastated by Typhoon Tino, leaving thousands of people without homes, food, or clean water. What makes this even harder is that not long ago, the same region was struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, and most people here in the U.S. haven’t even heard about it on the news. Families who were just beginning to rebuild have now lost everything again.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to raise funds for immediate relief — essentials like:

   •   Food and clean drinking water

   •   Clothing and hygiene supplies

   •   Temporary shelter materials (tents, tarps, wood, roofing)

   •   Medical kits and basic health support

   •   Animal rescue support for the many dogs, cats, and farm animals now displaced or injured

I’ll be coordinating with my family, and trusted local volunteers, animal rescue groups, and community leaders in Cebu who will directly distribute the funds and resources where they are needed most. 100% of donations will go to helping families and animals rebuild and recover.
