On Thursday October 16th our world was turned upside down when my nephew, Cayden, was involved in a terrible hunting accident while out with my brother and my dad in Wyoming— three generations doing something they’ve always loved together. What should have been a peaceful day outdoors turned into a nightmare when Cayden suffered massive trauma to his left hand.

Cayden was airlifted to the Denver Colorado hospital, where doctors have been working tirelessly to save as much of his hand as possible. He has already endured tremendous pain and faces a long road of surgeries, therapy, and recovery ahead. Despite everything, Cayden has shown incredible strength and courage — he’s fighting hard, and our family is right beside him every step of the way.

As you can imagine, the medical costs, travel expenses, and time away from work and little sister Brooklyn. This horrible accident is creating a heavy financial strain for his parents. We’re asking for help to ease the burden so they can focus completely on what matters most — helping Cayden heal.

Cayden is strong, fearless, and brave — the same boy who always lights up a room with his smile and spirit. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, will make a difference. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page and keeping Cayden in your prayers means the world to us.
