After a long-term relationship ended, I found myself needing to secure a new place to live. For years, I was able to split rent, but now I’m facing the challenge of finding and affording my own studio apartment. In the midst of this transition, I also tried to start fresh by moving to Estonia, hoping for a new beginning. Unfortunately, despite leasing an apartment and investing in the move, I was unable to get residency and had to return to the US. The process was not only emotionally taxing but also financially draining, as I learned the hard way how difficult it is to establish residency abroad, especially with the current global situation.

Now, I am looking to settle in New Rochelle, New York. This area is close to NYC, where my daughter is based most of the time, and where I hope to continue my work as a casting director and acting coach. The funds I’m raising will go directly toward the security deposit and first month’s rent for a studio apartment, helping me regain stability and stay connected to my family and career.

As most of you know who have already donated to my various GoFundMe’s, I was not born into a stable family with lots of financial resources. My mom worked minimum wage jobs her whole life, and my father survived three concentration camps during WWII, but couldn’t survive past 1974 due to extreme PTSD—before it was even called that. Despite working in casting for top shows, I never received a pension, as CDs were not yet unionized at the time. What I do have in abundance are great friends and colleagues, and I am deeply grateful for the support I’ve received in the past. Here I go again, needing help, and I appreciate any support you can offer as I work to rebuild and move forward.
