Catherine was born extremely prematurely at only 24 weeks, but she made it through and she is now a very happy 6-year-old! She has been growing well, but she was diagnosed with microcephaly and cerebral palsy, and she is unable to walk. We love to see her grow; however, she and her new wheelchair are getting heavier and more difficult to lift in and out of our minivan. It is time for us to upgrade to a wheelchair-accessible van so we can continue to care for her and include her in our family activities. The van would be used to transport Catherine to school, therapies, and doctor appointments. Our ideal van would also have a jump seat next to Catherine's wheelchair to allow us to care for her on longer trips.

We have had several people ask us how they could help our family, so we decided to open up this GoFundMe to provide an easy opportunity for something that would truly benefit Catherine. Wheelchair vans are very expensive and typically range from $50,000-90,000, so all donations, no matter how small, will help.
