My youngest baby cousins, Catarina and Catania were born on Sept. 18, 2021. Catarina who is seen on this picture was born prematurely at 3 lbs and has been in the NICU ever since. As she was in the NICU trying to gain strength and weight to come home, she ended up developing a bacterial infection causing distended stomach therefore the doctor had to stop her feeding. Baby Catarina has been fighting since day one so we are hoping to raise the funds she needs to get continuous treatment. We want her to come home healthy to her parents and twin sister, especially during this very difficult time in our family as we just lost our beloved aunt (Catarina’s dad’s sister) a week ago.
