Hi, my name is Cassidy, and I’m currently 9 months pregnant with my baby boy, who’s due to arrive on August 30th. As exciting as this time is, it’s also brought some real challenges. I’ll be unable to work for a while as I recover and care for my newborn — and unfortunately, my job that I’ve work at for 5 years does not provide any paid maternity leave or financial support during this time.

I’m reaching out with this fundraiser to ask for any help, no matter how small, to cover basic living expenses like rent, groceries, and baby essentials while I’m off work. Becoming a mom is such a blessing, and I want to be able to focus on welcoming my son into the world without the added stress of wondering how I’ll manage financially.
