Last week, Cassia was driving her daughters to their school and a piece of metal rolled into their lane on the highway. It shredded the bottom of their car and ruined the transmission among other things. Luckily, they were able to pull off and no one was hurt but the car was totaled. Her insurance is only going to reimburse a couple thousand dollars for the car.
Anyone who knows Cassia has seen how much she gives back to the world. If there is a friend in need, she has a couch. If there is an animal that is hurt, she takes it in. If there’s a cause looking for a volunteer, she steps up. During the pandemic when students struggled in her classes, she invited them to sit at her dining table and tutored them for free. Cassia gives everything she has to her community, even though we all know she doesn’t actually have all that much for herself.
Cassia has worked so hard for so long ever since she lost her first husband, all to give her children a better life, barely sleeping and taking multiple jobs while still somehow making time to be the kind of mom we all wish we could be. She has never really complained about any of it. She is almost done with law school, and now, she doesn’t have a car.
Cassia wouldn’t ask, but I am on her behalf- if anyone wants to help contribute to getting her and her daughters a reliable new car, here is your chance. She will be able to do such great things after she graduates, and helping her now will give her the chance to keep helping so many others in the future. If you can contribute anything, please consider doing so. If you can’t, please share this link with others who know her and her children.
