Help Casey's Family on Pine Island, FL

Hello, my name is Casey. I have family that lives on Pine Island, FL. Recently, Pine Island was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The bridge which connects Pine Island to the mainland via Matlacha has been destroyed. They are now stuck on the island. Rescue efforts are being made to evacuate the homeless and those in medical need. My family has opted to allow others more in need to be evacuated before them. They have been without any infrastructure (electricity, water, gas) on the island since Thursday (9/29/2022).

At the last update, they will be stuck on the island for another 7 to 10 days. After this time, they will hopefully be able to leave the island via an emergency bridge or ferry service (date TBD).

I am trying to raise money to help with gas(approximately $300) to pick them up and supplies(roughly $200 for 2 adults and 2 dogs) when they can get off the island.
