Help Casey Crush Cervical Cancer

My name is Shayna and Casey is a dear friend of mine and to many in the Weipa community.

Before Christmas Casey was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cervical Cancer, this means the Cancer has now spread from her cervix to other nearby organs.

Treatments at this stage can include chemoradiotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, a targeted cancer drug and an immunotherapy drug.

Weipa being the remote community that it is means Casey has to travel between Cairns and Brisbane for regular appointments and required treatment.

This all comes at a significant cost and at home Casey has a young family and is the primary income earner.

I am hoping we can raise enough funds to help cover any travel related expenses for her children and also, so she does not have to worry about the cost of living while she is going through treatment and not able to work.

For those of you who don't know Casey, she is a very giving and family orientated person.

She is always the first person to offer assistance to help anyone in need and now is the time where she needs us to give back.
