My name is Carson Illig, and I am a Life Scout with Troop 690. I am working toward my Eagle Scout rank by taking on a project that is very important to me—building a raised garden bed for Hamm Elementary School. I want to give back to the place that helped shape who I am today, and I hope this project will inspire students for years to come.

The raised garden bed will provide a hands-on learning space where students can grow plants and learn about science, nutrition, and responsibility. Donations will help cover the cost of lumber, screws, soil, and other materials needed to complete the project. Every contribution, big or small, will go directly toward making this vision a reality for the students at Hamm Elementary.
