This is Carrie’s story

Three years ago, my life changed in the best way possible when my two nieces (ages 9 and 10) and my nephew (age 12) came to live with me. Since then, we have built a life defined by safety, consistency, and love. They aren't just my relatives; they are the heart of my home.

For the past two years, I have been in a grueling legal battle to secure their future through full custody. This journey has spanned two states and required an army of professionals—from guardians ad litem and mediators to reunification counselors. I have fought every step of the way to ensure their voices are heard and their well-being is protected.

The Financial Hurdle:

The emotional toll is high, but the financial burden has become a mountain I cannot climb alone. To continue this fight and reach our trial date this November, I must meet two critical deadlines:

$10,000 by May 1st: This is required for the attorney’s trust to keep our case active and moving forward.

$15,000 by November: To cover the final trial costs and representation.
