As many of you know, I am disabled and have primary progressive multiple sclerosis, which makes it impossible for me to work a full-time job. My father, David, is 70 and not in the best health, and I am his primary caregiver. The cost of living has become outrageous, and despite applying for apartments, we have had no luck finding a stable place to live. We do not have our own home and could be facing homelessness at any time.
Getting a camper would give us a safe and independent place to call our own. It would allow us to stay together with our dogs, avoid the burdens of lawn care and high utility costs, and finally have some stability. We could also do small jobs at a campground to help pay our way and contribute to the community, which would make a big difference in our lives.
Your support will help us secure a camper, keep our family together, and provide the stability and dignity we deserve. Every contribution brings us closer to a safe and permanent home.
