Update: we have purchased batteries,

solar chargers, underwear, clothing, shoes, hygiene items, etc. When Heather arrives in Grenada she will purchase needed items to help rebuild the homes of the islands. Thank you to all who have donated. Excess clothing will be donated to a local shipping company here in Brooklyn who will be send items to the people of Grenada. My name is Theana Cheliotes. I don’t usually do things like this, but I am compelled to do something. I met one of my best friends, Heather, when I was 16 years old. She arrived in my hometown from a little island in the Grenadines called Petite Martinique. We always said we would visit the island and after 30 years, we finally went last summer with my two boys. Our time there was incredible. The people, the food, the beautiful island of PM and Carriacou.

Well, I am hurt to say that Hurricane Beryl has left a trail of devastation across the picturesque islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique in Grenada . These vibrant communities, known for their rich culture and warm hospitality, have been severely impacted by the storm. Homes have been destroyed, businesses disrupted, and essential services compromised.
