My Auntie Carolyn has always been someone to rely on.

She would drive me to the doctor if I was sick, bring over food if I needed it and check-in on me no matter how busy she was.

I know she wasn't just doing this for me, but for so many other families, friends and members of the community over years and years.

She's consistently been a reliable, generous and supportive part of our lives and our community.

Carolyn lives alone in a one-bedroom apartment and has recently been subject to a unfair and dangerous legal attack.

A neighbour in the area has taken Carolyn, as well as some other members of the community, to court with unfound legal charges.

This seemingly random and vicious attack on Carolyn has put an immense stress on her emotionally and financially.

She's been unable to do the work that she loves — taking care of children and families — creating a ripple in her community and hurting others.

For all of us that know Carolyn, she is the last person that deserves to be put in this unjust situation. She has consistently dedicated her life to helping others.
