Help Caroline's Family Rebuild After Housefire

Hi friends, we had a housefire yesterday. It’s a total loss. The fire started in the back of the house. The causes unknown, but it’s bone dry around here, and there have been fires everywhere. The problem with this fire was that it got under the eaves and into the attic. Therefore, the whole house is soaked in water. Will be an alternate living for an about eight or nine months. My chief concern is that although we have insurance, we don’t get anything for six weeks. I need to buy Daniel a new laptop, so he can finish his EMT course. I was able to salvage Michael Baten’s belongings, thank goodness for they are treasures. I was also able to salvage my jewelry and a few paintings. I’m embarrassed to ask for help, but my union at the Marblehead schools is on strike right now, so I’m not getting a paycheck.
