Help Carlos and Family During Difficult Time

Our cousin Carlos was recently the victim in a tragic and senseless shooting. Thanks to god and his perseverance, Carlos is in stable condition, but the incident will require him to stay in the hospital for awhile as well as require at home care while he begins his recovery and physical therapy. My aunt, a single mother with two other younger children, will be staying with him throughout this time, and thus will be unable to work for over a month.

While we and the rest of our family are currently pooling together resources to help my cousin and his family, they are facing mounting hospital bills, rent bills, and other basic grocery and utility needs they will require support with. We are asking you, the community, to help support our family during this difficult time so they can focus helping my cousin in his recovery, as well as keeping their family safe. Any contributions, well wishes, and prayers are much appreciated by my cousin and our family. Thank you

Nuestro primo Carlos fue recientemente víctima de un tiroteo trágico. Gracias a Dios y a su fortaleza, Carlos se encuentra en condición estable, pero el incidente lo tendrá en el hospital por lo menos un mes mientras comienza su recuperación y terapia física. Mi tía, madre soltera con dos hijos más pequeños, estará con él durante todo este tiempo, por lo que no podrá trabajar por más de un mes.

Aunque nosotros y el resto de la familia estamos uniendo recursos para apoyar a mi primo y a su familia, están enfrentando crecientes gastos médicos, renta y otras necesidades básicas. Le pedimos a ustedes, la comunidad, que nos ayuden a apoyar a nuestra familia en este momento difícil. Actualmente están enfocados en ayudar a mi primo en su recuperación y en mantener a su familia a salvo.
