Hello, My name is Carli, im trying to raise fund for our family.

We are about 40,000 dollars in debt. 90% is medical debt the rest is loans that we've had to take out to keep surviving.

A Little Background

My husband Zach and I have 2 beautiful children. Zach and the children do have a condition called Marfans Syndrom. Marfans is a condition that affects the aortic valve in the heart causing it to dilate at a faster pace, while also affecting eye site, joints, bones, and a multitude of other bodily functions. They tend to be taller then most, husbands 6' 8"! And im sure the kids are going to be just as tall!

About 3 years ago in October of 2022 Zach's body started to hurt worse and worse each day, he was tha main provider for us and worked so hard but could no longer keep working. He started short term disability to take time with doctors to find out why his body wasn't getting any better. They ran blood tests, mri's, cat scans, xrays, and everything under the sun to find out why he wasn't getting any better. About a year later we finally got a diagnosis of Fibromyalga. There is no cure. Since then he was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and they have still been testing for other auto immune issues as we wait. Hes had 4 doctors give up on treatment plans and pain management, essentially saying, "youre out of luck sorry find someone else or deal with it"

All while this is happening he was put on long term disability with work, who the entire time kept making us prove that he couldn't walk, pick up items, or work essentally, in May of 25 they cut off our Income from Disability saying that he can work 2 distinct job (his 4 doctors sent in reports that he couldn't physically work any job) security monitor or receptionist.

I personally ended up having a mental episode, needing to be hospitalized for a week after finding out that we were losing half of our income. The only reason we were able to survive and keep going was his income.

I was already working full time as a Pharmacy Technician. I work as much as I possibly can. And still its bairly enough to cover half of the bills.

We sold our truck, stopped all unnecessary payments (streaming services, eating out, exc.) And its still not enough to survive.

We've applied to financial aid, medicaid, snap and anything else you can think of. But we are denied due to me having a job and medical insurance (its not very good insurance, just basic).

We're currenting waiting for social security hearing to see if he can at least get Medicare to help with his medical debt and ongoing doctors appointments, and possibly getting the physical therapy he needs to help his body. He was supposed to have a hearing back in September 2025 but they canceled it and moved it to February 2026.

We wont last that long.

My family and his family havent been able to help much.

But were still struggling. We have opted to selling our house to downsize even more, but houses still arnt cheap and I dont know if we can even afford one by selling the house but we have no where to go. No family or friends can take us in. Not 4 people, 2 larger dogs, 2 cats and a snake we've had for 11 years.

In the last 2 years my oldest had 5 eye surgeries (one more to go), my husband has had emergency retinal surgery, and ive had appendicitis.

We're drowning in medical debt and ive been avoiding debt collectors like the plague.

Please help us so we can start over, give out children better life. Give us the hope that we can live and not just survive.
