A heartbreaking tragedy has turned my sister’s world upside down. On November 24, around 3:30 am, a sudden and uncontrollable house fire destroyed everything she owned. In a matter of minutes, the home she had lived in for decades—the place filled with her memories, her keepsakes, her comfort—was reduced to ashes.

Most devastating of all, she lost her beloved pets, her constant companions and greatest source of daily joy. The grief of losing her home is overwhelming, but the pain of losing her animals is beyond words.

She is now left with nothing but the clothes she was wearing. No home. No furniture. No essentials. No place to return to. She is doing her best to stay strong, but starting from scratch at her age (69) is incredibly difficult—emotionally, physically, and financially.

We are coming together as a community to help her rebuild a safe, stable place to live. Our goal is to raise $ 35,000 to help her secure a new home, replace basic necessities, and begin putting her life back together.
