Friends and Family,

Caleb has taken a strange and adventurous journey through his high school years. He began like many do, attending the local school for big-brained wizard types. But his adventure started during a great plague. After trudging down that path for a while, it became dark and almost impassable. That is when he decided to take the dangerous path through the mines of Moria. Some know it as Khazad-dûm, but still others know it as Saltzberg School of Self Educating. Regardless of the name, it was treacherous, full of caverns and dungeons and dragons and trolls. Somewhere along the way, Caleb fell into a chasm with an ancient and angry demon. There he fell for countless ages (if you wanted to count, about a year). But, he defeated the demon and re-emerged Caleb the Wise, Caleb the Brave. He met a fellow adventurer on his way, Rosie from New Zealand.

In January of 2026, Caleb will start a new adventure in a new land across the ocean. He will be moving to New Zealand with Rosie. He is full of hope and fear. But he is not full of funds. Call it a graduation present. Call it a going away gift. Call it adventure funds. We would be grateful for anything that you all would like to share with him, money or advice. We will miss him, but we are extremely excited for his adventures to come. Caleb the Grey is now Caleb the White and headed to the land from whence the story was told. Hopefully, Caleb’s next chapter will be magical.
