Building Dreams Beyond Sight: A Home for Blind Football

In Uganda, Blind Football was introduced by Jagwe Muzafaru in 2021 to students of Makerere and Kyambogo universities and later extended to the Kampala Metropolian area to Mukono, Gulu, Soroti, Kabale, Buikwe, Jinja, Lira, Kamuli and Isingiro district in the Nakivale refugee settlement camp.

Our team has been training on borrowed grounds and open spaces, often unsafe and uneven. Despite this, our players show up with courage and determination, proving that blindness doesn’t limit vision — it only changes how you see the world.

Now, we are dreaming bigger. We want to acquire a small piece of land to build a dedicated blind football training ground — a safe place where our athletes can train, grow, and inspire others.

Alongside this, we hope to purchase essential equipment like blind football balls, uniforms, protective gear shin guards, mouth guards and goalposts designed for blind football.

Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to creating a home for this incredible community — a place where dreams can take shape and abilities shine brighter than limitations.

Together, we can build more than a field. We can build a future where every blind athlete has the chance to play, compete, and belong.

Join us in turning this vision into reality. Help us build the first blind football training ground — a field of dreams beyond sight.

Thank you in advance for contributing to this campaign, may the Almighty reward your giving hand abundantly.
