On the night of April 30th, Burk, Traci, and their 15-year old son Cody lost their home in a devastating fire in Hooper, Utah.
What started as a garage fire quickly spread through the house, leaving their home with severe damage and an estimated loss of over $650,000. Thankfully, they were able to escape safely, and no one was injured but nearly everything they owned was lost.
In a matter of minutes, they went from the comfort of their home to facing the overwhelming reality of starting over.
Clothing, personal belongings, household essentials are gone. In addition, they lost several taxidermy mounts and countless sentimental, irreplaceable items collected over a lifetime, items that simply can’t be replaced.
While we are incredibly grateful that their lives were spared, the road ahead will be long and difficult.
We are starting this fundraiser to help Burk, Traci, and Cody with immediate needs like clothing, temporary housing, food, and the many unexpected expenses that come with losing everything. As they begin the process of rebuilding, any support will go a long way in helping them get back on their feet.
If you know this family, you know the kind of people they are, hardworking, kind, and always willing to help others. Now it’s our turn to support them in their time of need.
If you are able to donate, share, or keep them in your thoughts and prayers, it would mean more than words can express.
Thank you for your support.
