Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
My name is Bully Keita, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family here in Gambia. Life has become very difficult for us each day is a struggle for food, clean water, and even shelter. I had to leave school because we couldn’t afford the fees, and recently. A terrible storm struck our village. The roof of our home was blown off, and one side of the house collapsed. It is no longer safe for us to stay there, and now we are homeless in the middle of this rainy season.
Still, we hold on to hope. We believe in the kindness of those who walk in love, and in the power of faith to move hearts.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.
Proverbs 19:17
We have no support here, but we believe God works through people like you. Any donation small or large can be a lifeline. It can help us find food, restore dignity, repair our home, and remind us that we are not forgotten.
If you’d like, you can even speak with me or my mother on a video call. We want you to know that we are real, and we are truly grateful for every bit of help.
Thank you for listening. May the Lord bless you richly for your compassion and generosity
