As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we work to build healthy childhoods that lead to wholesome adulthoods for children across America. Recently, one of our community members, Kourtney, wrote “with American SPCC I feel like I’m helping change the world”. And, we couldn’t agree more - building brighter futures would not be possible without you!
In the United States, 4.4 million child abuse cases are reported annually, up to 70% of children say that they have been bullied or witnessed it happening and 61% of children in foster care enter the system due to neglect at home. As the Voice for Children in America, we develop and distribute educational resources to parents, caregivers and child-facing establishments to put an end to these traumatizing cycles.
Supportive child-advocates like you save children’s lives and make individuals like Alex “empowered to be a more well rounded husband and father”.
Here’s what you’re helping make possible when you donate:
• Expansion of our Learning Center – an online educational resource free and accessible to all
• Development and distribution of our Resource Kits to parents and caregivers across the country
• Building of transformative partnerships such as The Brain Story and The Happy Child app
