Creativity belongs to everyone.
That simple belief is the heart behind the Everyone Creates Project.
Creativity is more than making something beautiful.
It is exploration.
Expression.
Connection.
A way to learn, heal, communicate, and discover what is possible.
From a young age, creativity has always been a huge part of my life. Whether I was making art myself, helping others create, or seeing someone's confidence grow after trying something new, I have always believed creativity has the power to bring people together.
That passion eventually led me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master’s in Art Education.
During my time volunteering at The Magic House Children’s Museum, working with students of different ages and abilities, and spending nearly a decade supporting a young autistic artist, I saw firsthand how powerful creative environments can be.
When people are given access to materials, encouragement, and a space where they feel safe exploring, something incredible happens:
They create.
They connect.
They discover.
They grow.
But creativity is not only something children need.
Adults need spaces to explore, learn, experiment, and belong too.
That belief eventually led me to create Creativity Chronicles, where I have already begun exploring and sharing creative resources, local organizations, artist stories, and tools that help people reconnect with creativity.
While the long-term dream is a physical community space, the mission has already begun through free online resource guides highlighting creative spaces, accessibility resources, and community opportunities.
The Dream
The long-term dream of the Everyone Creates Project is to create an accessible creative community space where people can:
Explore different art materials
Learn creative skills
♻️ Reuse and transform materials
Reconnect with creativity
Build community
Experience a place where they belong
Inspired by approaches like Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB), the dream is a space centered around choice, curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
A place with possibilities like:
* Classes and workshops
* Studio spaces
* Creative materials and tools
* A gallery/shop supporting artists
* Community gatherings
* Opportunities to learn and share skills
A space where creativity is not limited to one age, ability level, background, or definition of what makes someone an “artist.”
Because everyone creates.
Starting Small
Big dreams do not happen overnight.
They grow piece by piece.
Right now, the Everyone Creates Project is in its beginning stages.
The current goal is to begin building the foundation by gathering resources, supplies, connections, and support.
Funds raised may help with:
Art supplies and creative materials
Storage and organization
Tools and equipment
Educational resources
Creative reuse materials
Future workshops and community opportunities
Every contribution helps create the foundation for what this project could become.
Community Makes Creativity Possible
This dream was never meant to be built by one person alone.
It is about community.
Recently, BLICK Art Materials supported the project by contributing toward art supplies, becoming one of the first community pieces helping this vision move forward.
And that is exactly what Everyone Creates represents:
Different people bringing different pieces together.
Someone has materials.
Someone has knowledge.
Someone has connections.
Someone has encouragement.
Together, those pieces create something bigger.
Thank You
Whether you donate, share, offer resources, or simply believe in this vision:
Thank you.
Every act of support matters.
Sometimes the smallest seeds grow into something more beautiful than we could have imagined.
If you cannot contribute financially, sharing this project is also deeply appreciated. Sometimes the right connection, resource, or opportunity begins because one person passed an idea along.
Because creativity belongs to everyone.
And everyone creates.
