Help Build New Hampshire’s First Nonprofit Indoor Skatepark!

Hello!

My name is Coach Ben, from Greenfield NH, I’m 34 years old and I’ve been teaching skateboarding for over 8 years. I’ve personally coached more than 1,000 students across New England, helping kids , teens, and adults discover the joy, confidence, and discipline that skateboarding brings.

Now, I’m taking the next step: opening Granite State Sport Camp, a nonprofit indoor skatepark and youth center in Nashua, New Hampshire.

This space will give our community a safe, year-round place to skate, learn, and grow. It will include:
• Open skate sessions for all ages and skill levels
• Affordable memberships and daily passes
• Weekly clinics and lessons led by certified coaches
• Skateboard rentals and gear support for kids who don’t have access
• Special events, competitions, and community nights
• Partnerships with schools and local organizations to keep kids active and engaged

Why This Matters To Me!

Too many kids don’t have a safe place to skate. They end up in parking lots or streets, which isn’t safe for them or for drivers. An indoor skatepark means a safe, welcoming environment where everyone, from beginners to advanced skaters, can thrive.

This project isn’t about profit, it’s a nonprofit built on passion, community, and giving back. Every dollar raised goes directly toward:
• Rent & utilities for our indoor facility ($180,000/year)
• Skatepark construction ($60,000+ in ramps and obstacles)
• Equipment & safety gear (helmets, pads, skateboards for loaner programs)
• Scholarship programs to cover costs for kids who can’t afford to skate

How You Can Help!

As we push toward opening, we want to be upfront about where we're at. The $30,000 fire protection upgrade for the plaza is being split between the tenants, but we still have some major expenses on our side to clear before the doors can open.
• $13,000 sprinkler head installation
• Fire alarms, horns, and strobes (quote pending)
• $15,000 monthly rent due in full at the end of the month
• Plus any additional items the fire marshal requires after his visit this week
Every bit of support right now - memberships, passes, donations, sharing our posts - genuinely helps move us closer to opening as fast and safely as possible. We're building this for the community, and we truly appreciate everyone who's been backing us through the final stretch.

We're almost there. Thank you for riding with us.
