Our little web magazine (LeipGlo.com), the only one regularly publishing in English in East Germany, is run by mostly volunteers. It was beginning to build its way to sustainability by organizing events for the Leipzig community. They included job fairs and cultural and networking events. However, the Coronavirus crisis has brought those initiatives to a screeching halt and we find ourselves seriously struggling to survive, like plenty of other businesses and projects at the moment.
To help our own volunteers and project as well as others struggling locally, we would like to ask for your donation to transition our services into building up a comprehensive database of Coronavirus-time activities (like deliveries, take-out, community outreach) and resources in English for the Leipzig area. Let's brighten up our little corner of the world a little! Any support you can give can help us and this community weather this very frightening and potentially long storm that is affecting people everywhere.
