** Help Finish Gruetzmacher Park **
Imagine a place where children race across a playground, families gather for community events, friends meet for a game of pickleball, neighbors explore miles of scenic trails, and generations come together to enjoy the outdoors. Gruetzmacher Park is under construction and we need your help to bring this incredible community destination across the finish line!
Spanning 47 beautiful acres, Gruetzmacher Park features:
- A year-round community center
- A modern, fun, accessible playground
- Eight pickleball courts
- A sledding hill for winter fun
- More than 2.5 miles of safe, off-road trails
- A bicycle pump track and skills course
- Restored wetlands, native prairie, forest, a pond, and open green space for recreation, wildlife, and environmental education
Located at N2261 Bean City Road in the Town of Caledonia, the park will serve residents of New London, Fremont, and Readfield while welcoming visitors from throughout the region.
This project has been made possible through the extraordinary generosity of the Gruetzmacher Family Trust, community donors, grant funding, dedicated volunteers, and countless hours of work from the Town Board and Park Committee. Their commitment has brought us this far.
Now we're asking for your help to complete the park.
Additional donations will help fund the remaining construction needed to open Gruetzmacher Park to the public this September. Every donation brings us one step closer to opening a place where families can gather, children can play, neighbors can connect, and our community can make memories for generations to come.
Be part of building something that will serve our community for decades. Donate today and help us open the gates to Gruetzmacher Park this September!
