We need your help to bring Gruetzmacher Park to life!

Construction is underway on Gruetzmacher Park, a new 47-acre destination park featuring:

A year-round community center

A modern, accessible playground

Pickleball courts

A sledding hill

More than 2.5 miles of safe, off-road trails

A bicycle pump track and skills course

Beautiful natural landscape with restored wetlands, native prairie, forest, a pond, and open green space.

Located at N2261 Bean City Road in the Town of Caledonia, this park will serve residents of Fremont, Readfield, New London, and visitors from across the region. It was thoughtfully designed to bring recreation, wellness, and environmental education together in one place.

The park is scheduled to open to the public in September 2026. The park is made possible thanks to the incredible support of the Gruetzmacher Family Trust, generous donors, grant funding, dedicated volunteers, and the hard work of the Town Board and Park Committee.
