I did everything I was supposed to do—and still lost everything.
Not because I gave up.
Not because I didn’t try.
But because the system I depended on failed me at every step.
Over the past few years, I’ve been fighting to stay stable, stay present in my son’s life, and build something meaningful despite constant setbacks. I’ve faced housing instability, legal challenges, and barriers that made it nearly impossible to move forward—even when I followed every rule and did everything right.
The hardest part isn’t just losing stability… it’s missing moments with my son that I can never get back.
There’s nothing worse than trying your hardest to be a good father—and still feeling like you’re falling short because the system keeps pushing you down.
I’m not asking for a handout.
I’m asking for a chance to rebuild what was taken from me—and protect what matters most.
Right now, I’m at a critical point. Without support, I risk continuing the cycle—unstable housing, missed opportunities, and limited time with my son. With support, I can stabilize, rebuild, and move forward the way I’ve been trying to for years.
Your support helps me:
• Secure stable housing
• Stay connected and present in my son’s life
• Cover basic survival costs while rebuilding
• Prepare for legal and advocacy steps
• Continue building something bigger than just myself
Through everything I’ve been through, I started building something called Equal Ground Advocacy Network (EGAN).
Because I realized—I’m not the only one this is happening to.
Right now, I personally know multiple people going through the same failures in the system.
I know three women who have been pushed into homelessness by these barriers.
One of them even lost custody of her child after losing housing—without real support, without guidance, and without mercy from the system that was supposed to help.
This isn’t rare.
This isn’t bad luck.
It’s a pattern.
• Vouchers expiring before they can be used
• No guidance when it matters most
• Delays that lead directly to homelessness
This fundraiser isn’t just about helping me survive—it’s about helping me rebuild AND create something that helps others fight back too.
I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes like anyone else. But I’ve never stopped trying to do better—for myself, and for my son. And I’m still here, still fighting, still building.
If you’ve ever felt like the system works against people instead of helping them…
If you believe parents should have a fair chance to stay in their children’s lives…
If you believe people deserve a real opportunity to rebuild…
I’m asking for your support.
Every dollar helps me take one step closer to stability—and one step closer to making sure others don’t go through this alone.
