For the past 22 years, I’ve called this beautiful acre in the Tahoe National Forest home. Eight years ago, I started Big Yeti Tiny Village with just an RV site and a Hipcamp sign, determined to create a place where people could live, work, and play in harmony with nature. Every year, I’ve invested what I could to showcase new ways to enjoy a live-and-work-from-home environment, and the vision has only grown stronger.
Now, I’m ready to take Big Yeti Tiny Village to the next level. My goal is to transform our five long-term apartments into Airbnb-ready spaces, establish a luxury RV camping area for our flagship RV BootCamp 101 program, and enhance the property with landscaping, curb appeal, and a welcoming glass storefront. With the right zoning and a prime location off the I-80 corridor, we’re perfectly positioned to offer unique experiences to travelers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you’re into RVs, 4x4s, hiking, or just want a peaceful getaway, there’s something here for everyone.
As a veteran on disability, building Big Yeti Tiny Village has been both the hardest and most rewarding journey of my life. I believe there’s a better way to live—a way that balances chasing dreams with building community. With your support, we can finish this prototype, welcome more guests, and inspire others to create their own micro campground adventures. Join us in making Big Yeti Tiny Village a place where ideas flourish, families connect, and everyone is welcome. Your help—whether financial, creative, or hands-on—will make all the difference. Let’s build something amazing together!
