Help Build Barett's Healing Clubhouse!

Donation protected
Hi friends and family!

I’m reaching out to share the story of a very special young boy named Barett and ask for your support in building something beautiful for him. Barett is a sweet, smart, and gentle 15-year-old with autism, and is going through an extremely heartbreaking loss - his wonderful mother recently passed away after a long battle with cancer.

At this extremely difficult time, two of our community members, Kristina and Jim Creveling, along with their two kids, James (16) and Vivian (14), opened their home and hearts to Barett, welcoming him in as part of their family.

As Barett adjusts to all these major life changes, Kristina had the amazing idea to build something special for him: a Sensory JungleGym / Clubhouse. She is imagining a space with a rock wall, fireman pole, and saucer swing, among other features.

This type of structure (which would be custom-built for Barett) provides children on the spectrum a soothing and engaging environment. It will support his sensory needs, promote emotional regulation, and encourage physical activity in a fun, low-pressure way. We hope it can be a therapeutic place where he can play and feel safe, and will not outgrow.

As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and right now, we’re counting on our village to come together for Barett. Your support, whether big or small, will help give him a sanctuary to heal, grow, and just be a kid.

Thank you for showing up with love and generosity.

Let’s build Barett’s Clubhouse together!
