AZAA is being forced to relocate after 20 years of serving artists. Help us build our new home and keep this creative community alive.

After 20 years of building a community for artists and truth-tellers, AZAA must relocate by February. A sudden rent increase forced us out of our McDowell studio. But we found the perfect new home: the historic Green Gables Castle on 24th & Thomas. This move will only happen with the community that built this school, and we truly cannot make it through this transition without your support.

AZAA has given countless artists a place to grow, take risks, and belong. This move ensures that work continues.

To make the move possible by February, we’re raising $20,000 to cover essential costs:

* Moving & reinstalling our exterior sign

* Stage lighting and safety upgrades

* Painting and preparing the new performance space

* Replacing worn-out seating (farewell, futon)

* Storage, moving supplies, trucks, and labor

* Restoring our old space to recover our deposit

Donation of $350 allows us to retire the old futon with dignity and gratitude. We’ll send it off with a ceremonial bow and possibly a Viking funeral. (Jacque said no to actual fire. She is correct.)
