Drag has always been more than entertainment, it’s identity, resilience, creativity, and community. Across Australia, drag queens, drag kings, DJs, dancers, and performers pour their heart into their craft, yet many still struggle to be discovered, booked, and supported consistently.

 That’s why I’m creating Drag Finder Australia, it’s a platform designed to bring our entire entertainment community together in one powerful, accessible space. Inspired by the growing support on Instagram via @dragfinderaustralia, this app will transform how audiences connect with performers and how venues thrive.

Drag Finder Australia is a mobile app that connects the public directly with drag queens, drag kings, performers, DJs, and entertainers across the country.

The app will include:

-State-by-state browsing so users can easily find talent and events near them An inbuilt event calendar showing what’s on, where, and when
 -Google Maps integration to guide users straight to venues and events Follow & notify features so fans never miss their favourite performers
- High-level security including Face ID, verified email and phone sign-up, and strong data protection to prevent scams and ensure user safety

Our drag and performance community is incredibly talented but often underrepresented, underpaid, and hard to find unless you already know where to look.

Venues that support drag are also struggling. These spaces are more than nightlife they are safe havens, cultural hubs, and places where people feel seen and accepted.

 Without visibility, we lose:
 • Opportunities for performers

 • Safe spaces for our community Drag Finder Australia is about changing that.
